So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. (Matthew 22:10)

Coming By Car

The church's address is Christ Church Bromley, Highland Road, Bromley, BR1 4AA. Online route-finding services will do a better job of directing you than we can. Having said that, from the north, the AA website recommends coming via Tower Bridge but the Rotter family usually use the Blackwall Tunnel.

Parking

Car parking is most easily available at the The Hill car park off Beckenham Lane. Please allow 10 minutes to walk to the church (the route along London Road is flatter). When purchasing parking, we suggest you simply pay the £4 fee for "5 hours or more." The car park is open 24 hours.

If a 10 minute walk would be problematic (for reasons of children, mobility, lateness, 4-inch heels etc.) then there is some parking available close to the church. Please report to the usher stationed in front of the building for instructions.

Coming By Train

The nearest station is Shortlands, in Zone 4 on the line from London Victoria. Trains run every 15-20 minutes, taking 25 minutes.

The church is a 15 minute uphill walk away. Leave the station, turning right under the bridge and follow Beckenham Lane east past a double row of shops. Turn left onto Highland Road and you will come upon the church presently. To return, there are trains in the evening from Shortlands at 19, 26, 49 and 56 minutes past the hour. The last train back to London is at 23:26.

Alternatively, you can come to Bromley South, in Zone 5. Trains to here are more frequent and can be faster. It is 15 minutes from the church by bus, but the church is only a 5 minute downhill walk from the bus stop. Take bus 208 (for Lewisham or Catford) from opposite Bromley South station. Get off at Farwig Lane, walk back along the road and take the first right down Park End. The Church is at the junction with Highland Road, on the left.

Lunch

If you want to have lunch before arriving, then there is a pub which serves food, the Shortlands Tavern (from Shortlands Station turn right under bridge then right again), or there are at least two sandwich shops in the parade between the station and the church. All are open on Saturday at lunchtime. If coming via Bromley South, there are more eating options near the station on Bromley High Street.
